Writer's Block: It's not easy being green

We have the CFL bulbs. We were buying them before they were the "in" thing to do. When it cost $30 for five bulbs. :) Our whole place uses them. Then again, that helps with the power bill.
We keep the thermostat at 77 during the day, and 74 at night, if we don't leave the windows open. Then again, that helps with the power bill.
Honestly, most of our stuff that "helps the environment" is about keeping our pocketbooks padded. I'll be honest with that.
Like when the new Volt comes out, we're gonna try and get a loan for it, once the truck is paid off. Why? Because for basically unlimited mileage if one only drives 30 miles is badass. Josh will be taking it for work, LOL! He goes 45 miles ones one way, but 250 MPG for that is AWESOME! What we'd be saving in gas will pay for itself with half the car payment!
