Oh, So Good

We went to Lawrence today. Well, Madi, me, and her class. It was a lot of fun. We went to the Natural History Museum We walked around, and then took some photos outside. I also spent some of the time after we finished walking around inside. I even got to see the carrier for the KU route. His name is Pat, BTW.

For lunch, we stopped at a nearby park. I spent a lot of the time speaking with one of the other moms. I recognized her from Brownies. I think she helps with the Daisies, though. It was nice having an adult to speak with, someone who wasn’t into the drama

Speaking of drama, there was quite a bit going on with the girls, . It was just making me roll my eyes, as was the other mom, .

When I got home, I skipped my usual turn, and went to McDonald’s. I needed to break a $20 so I can help out with the Teacher Appreciation gifts for the teachers next week. So, I spoiled myself with a McCafe Vanilla Shake. Yes, I’m boring, but the cherry was calling to me,

Otherwise, not much is going on. Like really, nothing going on!! Tomorrow was supposed to be Brownies, but they’re camping. Since I couldn’t go, Madi didn’t go. Maybe next year, she’ll be able to do that stuff by herself. This year, I just wanted her to get used to stuff before we threw that on.

They split the kids up. Each parent had a max of two. :)

I am not sure what McDonald's did to their milkshakes but they are SO FUCKING DELICIOUS NOW.

I hadn't had one in awhile, but I seriously considered going and getting another when I finished my first, :O
