That's what we spent Josh's 4-day holiday doing.
Friday and Saturday, he was supposed to be out of town to Omaha, but that go rescheduled to the weekend after school gets out. So, we had him. Kids were (are) out from Friday to today.
Friday, we all just went to the lazy side. It was nice. We needed that. All of us.
Saturday, we cleaned out the closet. The walk-in closet. Took some stuff to Goodwill, and some more stuff to Abby Dabby.
Sunday, we did some more cleaning. Monday, we did some more again. We found books for Madison that she can read. We found our floor in our bedroom. I have a place to put the laptop when I'm in the bedroom. We got rid of a busted fan. We organized. Now, for the next three months, I'll be doing nothing but laundry.
Nice thing is that the kids had a good Easter.
We saw a hot air balloon land not far from us.
We even took a walk outside. All in all, a great 4 day weekend for Josh, and hopefully a nice 5-day weekend for the kids.
Friday, Madison goes to Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City with her Girl Scout troop. I'll be staying home with Ethan. It's crazy. This is her first ever trip without us, or any sort of family. I have no idea how she's going to do on the trip.
