My opinion exactly! To me, the paying for the meal shows that you are sufficiently interested in the person to put a little money into getting to know them.
Exactly. My husband paid when we were dating, but that was because I was broke as hell, LOL. BUT, we mostly had "cheap" dates of walking along the beach. I loved it, honestly, more than the spending dates.
